Hi, my name is Candice and I am in SE Tennessee. I am fairly new to fishkeeping in general although I successfully kept two different bettas for two plus years prior to my recent adventure. I received a 5 gal acrylic aquarium for Christmas from hubby and we are now the parents of 5 pretty guppies. Only one problem, other than ALOT of reading online in the last few days - I have no idea what I am doing. Just hoping to meet some folks and learn a little bit about how to keep my new finned friends alive.

Hi Candice, and welcome. You will get all the help you need here but i would suggest you look at how to cycle the aquarium before going any further.
