Hi everyone,
my name is Cass. Just started my little ten gallon tank about a week ago.
I am already having some issues. lol. I have 2 sunburst platies and 1 black molly. Everything has seemed fine.. but all of a sudden the black molly is bullying the other two.. Chasing them around.. makes me nervous that my fish are getting stressed..

Don't know what to do..

I used to keep mollies and platties together and had no problems, so I am confused about your problem, but anyway if your lfs is any good, they should let you take the molly back - that is the only way. Also slightly off topic I know, but are you adding tonic salt to the aquarium - the molly is actually a brackish fish - so it needs it, and the platties need it as they are livebearers.

Hi there,
i'm actually a beginner to tropical fish. Kind of nervous about it. Tonic salt-no. What is it? I will have to go get some. I ended up getting another black molly so hopefully it can calm the other down. But, it seems that he still does it, but mainly to the new black molly. So, i guess I will just wait it out..
