hi all
im not realtively new to having an topical aquarium i last had one over 5yrs ago its a basic tank that i got for nothing.
i gradually built it up on the next 12months learning as i went along..
It held 160L many gouramis, neons, red tail black shark, clown loach.
to be honest it was stunning people used to stop at the garden fence and just watched it..

But one fateful morning i got up for work and found that the tank had split 160L all over the floor everything dead.

so i gave up smashed up the aquarium put the gravel in the garden, and gave away everything else..

Now we have an 90L cool water aquarium thats got danios, white cloud minnows, weather loach, 2x golden apple snails etc.
we have had it setup for over 12months the idea was to get it to look like the bottom of a lake bed etc..

anyway im now in the proccess of being an owner of a Fluval Venezia 190L corner tank, for nothing everything perfect just unwanted.
But to be honest i dont know what to do with it.
do i set it up as a tropical(the price of elecy is of putting) or do i setup as a cool water aquarium.

so thats my dilema..

I'd set it up for tropicals. Let's face it, one heater can't cost very much to run. Good afternoon and welcome to the forum! :good:

I'd be inclined to move your current fish into the bigger tank (the minnows and danios would appreciate the extra swimming room, and weather loach can grow quite large; my friend used to keep them and had some that were nearly a foot long!) and then convert the 90l to tropical and have some small shoalers; a load of mosses, a couple dozen dwarf emerald rasboras or celestial pearl danios with some shrimps would look stunning.
