Hello my names Tom

Got my first ever tank a few weeks back. Cycled fine and i now have 6 neon tetras and 2 peppered corydoras. My tank is a 60 litre and i was wondering how many more fish do u think i can add before it gets overcrowdered and if i can add more what do you peeps recommend?

any info appriciated

Hi!
I'd leave it for a while to settle, but when you do add more fish, I'd say at least a couple more peppereds is the first priority. And maybe a few more neons. I'd stick with those two species, as they are both schooling fish.

Keep the fish to settle down before adding any new fish.

With a 60l you're a little limited, but if you go for a shoal of 6-8 fish of similar size to the Neons you should be ok. What filtration do you have?. Also, do you use live plants?.

im currently using Elite Stingray filter and so far ive got 3 nice live plants in there

I can only repeat: corydoras are schooling fish so you should spend your "fish quote" on giving them more mates.
