I didn't find my first newbie-post, so it must have lost in the war. But well... I decided to introduce myself again.
I am a 24-year-old girl from Finland, I've had aquariums for almost 15 years now, about last 10 of them have been the serious kind, being an aquarist, I mean. I have tried almost everything there is to try in the fresh water tanks. Last few years I've been really into planted tanks and I have been studying everything that has something to do with plants, evolution, biology and stuff. And now I read stuff about yeast, nutrients, snails, algae, light spectrums and such.
You can call me a geek.
When I'm not sitting in front of my tanks or reading something, I am online doing something aquarium related or just playing with Photoshop or ircing. I am single and searching for my Prince Charming. I have a peculiar sense of humour and most of time someone don't understand what I am trying to say. Or at least doesn't want to. My native language is finnish so sometimes or most of the time my english is a bit weird.
I just tore apart two of my tanks (2x160 liters), so I have only 7 aquariums now, holding 885 liters of water. In many of them lives some of my boys who have all kinds of different colours in them, black, white, red, pink, blue and they have crowntail genes. I also have some sort of Caridina shrimps, a crayfish, honey gouramis, white cloud mountain minnows, Otocinclus, silver tipped tetras, Corydoras pygmaeus, Corydoras robineae, Glyptoperichtys joselimaianus, Dwarf Puffers, lots of different Bettas, 7 snail species and over 50 plant species. I'm sure I forgot someone, but well, no-one remembers everything. I have my own website, but it's only in finnish, http/satuj.aqua-web.org/
