Hello everybody. My name is Nick. I am new to fishkeeping (well, I had a tank when i was a kid, but my mom did most of the work) and recently purchased a 30 gallon tank. After the (seemingly) endless "water preparation" cycle I finally purchased soem fish today. Hopefully I didn't go overboard. I picked up 6 neon tetras, 6 zebra danios, 2 swordtails, 2 clown loach, 2 pearl guaramis, 2 irradescent sharks, 2 dalmation mollys, and 3 tiger barbs, and a fiddler crab. I have been entranced so far with the goings on in the tank. I'm glad I found this forum and look forward to reading as much as I can to make sure my fish are comfortable.

No, you did not overstock the tank with fish, but being new to fishkeeping, I think you should have gone with some more beginner-friendly fish like guppies, platies, and swordtails. Either way, it sounds like an interesting variety of livestock. Hope everything works well for you!

Welcome Nick.
Did you put all those fish in at once ?. I would advise you don't add too many at a time. Adding too many could cause serious problems.
