Hello All, And What Kind Of Fish Now?

Hello everyone, I am 1 month into my new tank (with fish and after cycle) and am really enjoying it. I have 4 zebra danios, 3 orange sunshine guppies, 1 blue myster snail, 1 clown pleco and 2 Crinum thaianum (onion plants). I am really wanting a couple more fish because eveything is going so good. I am very on top of my maintance and check my water frequently. Any suggestions for some new fish??? Or any suggestions at all??? O ya I have a 30 gallon tank so I only want 3-4 more fish. I was thinking of some sort of rainbow fish. What do you think and nice to meet you all!

Hello You really need more danios, as they are a schooling fish and like to be in groups of 8 or more. So 4 more is really better so they can interact and show off to eachother. It's also nice to have a focal species or specimen in a tank IMO, and the lovely markings of the danios would look really good I think.

If it were me, I would up the number of danios. But if you want rainbow fish, you could try threadfin rainbowfish.

I would stick to the zebras, you should add at least 2 more. IMO threadfins wouldn't be a good choice, since the zebras would most likely go after their fins. Rainbows also like to school so you would need a group of them. You could try a single german blue ram.

Ok just got back from the fishy store and picked up 3 more zebras and a new light bulb for the plants. They do seem happier!!
