Hi again,,

my names Ray and i live in Central Scotland. Registered here some years ago or at least it seams that way lol and after moving home and getting rid of all my kit,, i find that i cant be without my hobby............

just bought a Juwel lido 120 to get me started again, fancied a cube style tank to start with and actually really please with it, seems well put together. (couldnt afford or have anywhere to put an Osaka)

Tank is still cycling at the moment, but should have spiked and settled back within the next 2-3 weeks.. so.....

Plan on starting with some Class N Endlers as this is what i had previously, so will be searching to see if anyone has some for sale, would love to get some from Adrian, but thats not looking very possible at the moment due to order size customs etc etc. and some xmas moss and the likes.

so glad this place is still around for the help and advice it provides.

Cheers Ray

cheers Malawi MaD,,,, 3:51am is a sad time to be looking at fishy stuff,, but hey,,,,, it's sunday :)

Not kidding ive just finished work and now i cant sleep so thought id come on here lol. So what tank did you have before?

i had a large "wave" tank, similar to this oe, http://www.fishforums.net/index.php?/topic/354299-wave-aquarium/
Thik it was 4-5 foot long, but it held a load of water. cant remember who made it, but only ever saw 1 other for sale and that was at UDA (ultimate discount aquatics) in cupar Scotland.

wish i never sold it, it was a great tank and very unique.

Hi laura,, im in Falkirk so not far away

Bet that tank looked amazing no wonder you regret getting rid.

Good afternoon and welcome to the forum! :good: . I remember my uncle telling me when I was 5 years old, " Don't ever get rid of or throw your old aquarium equipment away. You WILL need it again some day. When you tear down a tank, clean it up, dry it, and put it in the corner of your basement or attic. That way you won't have to buy all new equipment when you decide to set it back up. And you WILL want to set it back up." I've followed this rule for 42 years and boy was he right!

Colleen,,, thats is so true,,, now costing me a fortune,,, but worth every penny lol

welcome back to the fold. Probably lots of new faces/profiles...but always nice to see the passion of fishkeeping keeps "oldies" all returning. Afterall this is def the best forum by far! ;)
