Hello, My name is Pedro S. - aka PedroPSK.
I have been into African Cichlids for a little over two years now, and when I say “into” I actually mean “addicted to”! :D
I currently have a total of 4 tanks: 90g, 75g, 55g, 10g.
90g African Cichlid Tang/Malawi mix
75g African Cichlid Malawi Mbuna
55g African Cichlid Tang-Shellie Tank (in the works)
10g Hospital/Holding
My OLD setups can be seen HERE. The fish in the 55 are now in the 75 and the 55 is cycling. I have also since removed the live plants from the 90g.

When I first started I didn’t know too much so I bought what I liked and wherever I could find it. For the last year or so I’ve learned a lot and have been slowly replacing my “assorted” cichlids with specific types, that’s why I don’t really list my fish b/c some I’m not sure of.
I was born in Argentina but moved to South Florida when I was very young so I’ve pretty much spent my entire life here. I love anything that has to do with water. I’ve been Scuba diving since I was 12 and started competitive swimming when I was 8. By my senior year in high school I was co-captain of both the Swimming and Water Polo teams. I stayed with it for a little while after high school but not as long as I would have liked. I am still working towards my degree in Computer Science, it has taken a long time for many reasons, while working for a computer software development company in the Quality Assurance Dept. I’m single but live in an apt. with a roommate and a lot of fish.
Well…this is me.
Pedro S.

PS - I hope I put this in the right place. I pretty much focus on cichlids so I figured here would be best. Mod-if this should be somewhere else feel free to move topic.

:hi: to the forum.

Glad to see you joined or forum. However, this was the wrong forum to put it in. Try the newbie section. That's the right place to introduce yourself.
