Well everything is pretty much growing out VERY nicely,
i got a bunch of babies swimming around and i am going to have to upgrade the tank but i'm happy right now with it. I'm not running co2 because my bottle had a leak so i gotta make a new one.

Anywaysh here's the 33 gallon planted that i'v been working on forever, there are so many people that have helped me to get to this point. Any suggestions and opinions would be very gratefull. Thanks

WOW..beautiful tank. The swords and val has grown out really nicely. Lovely tank, good work.

Very nice, whats in there (fish wise) I thought I saw at least one rainbow..

yes very good there was a dwarf rainbow fish, that would hav been the newest addition

yea , the plants really have filled up the whole tank it seems, i duno what to do next haha.
i suppose i can move those verts from the front to the back .

any other suggestions

Yes, that was my question too.
But on the other hand, the tank is awsome!

yes bala shark wll be moved to a upgraded tank with everything else with time,
bala's still pretty small so i'm not worrying for a whiel :)

Impressive nicklfire.

My main suggestion would be to move your central foreground swords(?) to the left mid-ground. They are too dominant in terms of size and colour in their current position and detract from wood and planting behind.

Unfortunately moving swords can be tricky due to their massive root structure. If you do move them then pull them out real slow and watch out for the roots entangling with other plants. Prune back the roots to around 1 or 2" and replant. Add some laterite or root tabs etc. to the new planting area if you have any.

Nice work though, well done.

Yes hey, i was thinking about the same thing. I didnt know about the roots and cutting them back so thanks for that tip i'll do that this week somtime. i know moving them can be a pain so i do it very slowly and dig up the substrate alot so it dosnt wreak the roots much. Basically i only had them both there so they would grow alot and they have lol.

Asfar as the other comment about it being grown out too much, that was the angle i was going for, a really jungle feeeling where the fish can get lost and stuff. I suppose i can clean it up a bit and take out all those plants.. on the right hand side... those kinda... stringy ones, forget what htey are called.

Thanks for the comments so far keep them coming
