.... i wish i'd not added my two parrot fish.
having treated the tank for whitepot last week... now they are both showing signs of distress...
they are both breathing very rapidly... but eating normally. all my other fish appear to be fine and are breathing normally.
they have been doing this for a few days now... but last week i had the temp quite high to treat the whitespot, so put it down to that. However while my other fish have returned to normal, and didn't show any stress at the higher temp... my parrot fish appear to be breathing much more heavilly now the temp is down.
one of them has always been quite shy, but the more active one appears to be going about his business as usual.
There has been no gasping at the surface, my water checks out fine, and i did a 50% water change just yesterday.
I don;t think it's flukes, because none of my fish are flicking - not even the parrots.
