Hi,

I'm going to be buying a 4'x2'x2' tank and have just read CFC's article on keeping large fish, and it suggested two heaters which made me wonder if I'll be heating and filtering my tank enough.

This is the suggested Stocking List for the tank.

I have found a heater that will heat 100gallons and I was going for a fluval 405 filter, Will I need another filter and another heater for the tank?

I may be able to move my Fluval 305 to this tank as well, and use my Fluval 3+ plus in the 30gallon for the small community tank I have in my living room.

so it would then have a 405 and a 305 on it, would this be better?

Thanks in advanced,

you would be best with a second heater for lots of reasons but the price is the drawback. Also you might just get away with a 405 but i would suggest either add the 305 as well or go an even more expensive way and get a fluval Fx5 instead of both filters.

yeah I looked at the fx5 they do look cool as well lol :)

I've found a site selling the heaters for £16.99 each :D
