Hey, I was wondering where my heaters should be located in a 110gallon tank? I've always just placed my heaters in the middle of the tank near the bottom (if submersible) or near the top (if they have the stupid water line). But I was wondering how should I heat my new 110gallon tank which I'll be getting this sunday, I'm getting 2 heaters for it, ranked up to 55 gallons each (so 110gallon total) and I was thinking of having them on each side of the tank near the bottom (submersible heaters), but I want to know if I should hide them behind like large rocks or something??

Edit ---> I don't really want the heaters to be seen, all my other tanks heaters are out of site by decorations or plants...

Each end is fine, and if u want to hide them just make sure u have a good flow of water to to stop hot spots

Good circulation is the key.

perfect thx much :D I have excellent circulation on all my tanks (except my 2.5gallon snali infested :D for my DP when i get him)
