Heaters.

I last kept tropical fish 40 years ago and now aged 68 I have forgotten all I knew in those far off days.
I have purchased a tank of 13 gallons capacity with everything included, the heater supplied was 50 watts.
My question is is this of sufficient wattage to heat a tank of this size?
Can someone out there please help me.

A heater of 50watts will be fine for your tank, todays central heating systems do most of the work for them 8)

Don't forget about letting the fish tank cycle slowly using hardy fish.

If you need more help on this then we can go into more detail about waiting for bacteria to build up...
