Hi, can anyone suggest a decent heater to put in my tank, it is 55CM X 44CM X 28CM, thanks

you need a 50w, and then particular reliable ones are eheim jager heaters. i have just brought a rena smart heater 50w for my 35 litre, so i will see how this goes, most should be fine

visitherm are good heaters, never had a problem with any of mine.

Not gonna name brands b/c well.. I can't think of any off the top of my head lol... I would just try to get a heater that isn't glass. Try to get one that is that shatter proof plastic stuff

go with anything that doesnt use a bi-metalic strip, the fluval E series are meant to be very good.

They look a bit bulky them don't they! About time they moved on though! I recently saw a heater with a built in overheat stat and this was also digitally controlled can't find it now though!
