ok, so im getting my first betta as you may of seen on the betta section of the forum.Some of the members have recomended these heaters here for my new tank.they are designed for small tanks.
has anybody got one of these and had good experiances with them.also could anybody plz give me a uk link for this or give me an idea of how much they are in a lfs in the uk. thx very much. :D

yes thats it, exactly what im looking for.
has any body had good/bad experiances with these?do they brake easy or last long?

This appears to be one of those little heaters that don't have a thermostat. Basically, they have two settings: on and off. If you aren't always there to monitor them they will allow temperature fluctuations which are very stressful for the fish.

I would strongly recommend that you look for one that has a thermostat that lets you set it for a specific temperature and forget about it. :D

Absolutely -these heaters are not safe for the fish IMO. Without a thermostat the tank temperature will fluctuate and the fish may very well cook -ok , overheat.

You need a thermostat to maintain a stable temperature and there are some tiny 25W heater stats available that will be safe for the fish.
