i filled my 100 gallon tank yesterday at 5 o clock and turned on the heater.it says allow 24hours for water to heat.it has nearly been 24hours and its still on 22 is this right?

Hi. Check the thermostat settings. They are not always accurate. I know my heater needs to be set at 21 degrees to keep it at 24 degrees.

yeh mine is set to 18 and is actually 25 on the thermostat, i couldnt believe it was so far out
