Heater Question

Hey, well i bought this heater off ebay a while back, second hand so i have no instructions etc...

Im having a bit of trouble working out if its on or not haha.

When i plug it in, a light comes on. Im not 100% if its to say that its on, or warming up, because when its in the water after a few mins it seems to go off, ill lift the heater out, and it feels quite cool. Then the light will flick back on, and it heats up and gets really hot, to the point that it will burn my hand. I put it back in the water, few mins later the lights off. and when i lift it out it seems cool.

Can somone exsplain to me how they work lol, never used one before =]

Seems to be working fine. The lights an indictor to say its on and warming up when the light goes out it mean tank water is upto the temp the heater is set to

Right i had a feeling that was the case, but because i have no themomitor yet i didnt know lol.

Its on order anyway, once i get that im sure ill sus it all out haha!

Hi Craig

Best not to lift a heater out the water whilst its on, it'll break

lol, well i was trying to work out weather or not it was on, because the light had gone off....

And when i did lift it out, it was alot cooler than it was when i put it in
