I have 2 tanks stacked on top of each other with the top one overflowing into the one underneath. The water is drawn through an external filter form the bottom tank and then put back into the top tank.
I was wondering whether it will be better to have 1 heater taht heats all the water across the 2 tanks or 2 heaters, 1 in each tank? If the first option is the bets then does it matter which tank the heater is placed into, top or bottom?
