Heater Help Advice

hello
my heater on my 3 and a half foot tank has just broken. got no chance of getting a new one till monday. what could i do? if anyone in norwich has one that would be kinda nice. (hint hint)

why cant you get a new one until Monday? pets at home sell them? just pop into there?

That's why you should always have a back up one. Always keep spares, you never know when you might need them... hope you sort summit out.

Agreed, I can think of at least six shops within half an hour's drive from my house, and I don't even have anywhere in my own town.

i live near Norwich so i know the layout.. if not the market might have some? there's a stool by Tesco end of it which sells dog toys and fish food... you might be in luck for heaters

i used a spare in the end. didn't realise it still worked. its only a 50w but coped in the tank just about. i work 12 hour shifts. cant leave the building at all for 12 hours and was doing 6-6. this week i'm doing 6-6 but nights. not even meant to be using a phone but nevermind lol

I've gotta call some people about my filter and my heater this week. See if maybe I'll get some back-ups. The filter on my ten gallon is very loud compared to my silent 29 gallon (same brand) and too strong. Then the heater started making some clicking noise whenever it turns on and off. These both don't really bother me too much as they're in my other bedroom not the one I sleep in but still annoying when I'm in there and my fry don't appreciate the current. I unplug it for 5 minutes when I feed them so they can feed without a problem.
