I have a 55 gal tank. My electric blue has been in a vertical position for most of the time over the last three days. The top of his body from head back to tail and all along the way is white. All of the other fish seem OK. I am thinking he might has a fungus of some type. I have some medication for that, but it is a year old. My questions are does the medicine get old and does that sound like the problem.

Thanks,

Yes medication gets old. Are you sure it is a fungus, if you look closely does it have a fuzzy appearance? Is there anyway you can get a picture?
