Having trouble with pictures

have been trying to post a picture of my pleco called Spike, but cant upload pictures, have read the pinned section and then went off and transfered picture to Adobe but still no luck, have resized picture and just keep getting an error message saying, can not upload this type of file.

Can anyone help please.

Try saving your picture as jpeg

thanx will try this, i think they are saved as jpg, which i suppose is different, not very good at that side of things.

When i went back to pictures, something clicked in my brain, and im not sure what i done but have managed it (only taken me 2 days)

I have posted my picture of spike.
