this is for charmd2 or both of you. On the subject of funny looking things in tanks, i get these things that look like flat slugs or snails without their shells or feelers. they are the shape of a tear drop, sticking onto the side of the glass with the fat end and stretching and wiggling about with the pointy end. They're really really strange and I have no idea what they are. They get eaten by the fish so I've not seen what they grow into. What the heck are they?

sushi, I'm betting yours are Planaria, a quick search should give you TONS of info on them. Normally from overfeeding, and perfectly harmless.

Nemo, if you've boughten any live food, frozen food, or plants in the last few weeks that's most likely where yours have come from. And I'm really not sure how the heck planaria get moved in, probally the same ways.
