No, but I'd like to. I'm sure no one would notice me borrowing a few marine fish and accidently putting them in the marine tank I want....

Yes, both. I have done snorkling at me cottage near Tobermory (Lake Huron) and scuba diving with my gym class at school (in a public pool). This summer I will be getting my scuba liscence in British Columbia thourgh Ocean Educations.

I've been snorkeling at several lakes quite a few times and my girlfriend is scuba certified, so she’s taken me diving in Miami twice... It's (literally) a whole other world down there...

Related story... I stopped by a random pet shop a couple weeks ago; happened to be working in the neighborhood. It turned out they only had marine fish and supplies, but I spent a while talking fish smack with the guy. He told me about the yearly employee trip to the (Florida) Keys. They close the store for a week and take all the employees (5-10 people he said) to the Keys and they hang out, relax, party, and catch fish! They target the more expensive fish the store stocks and catch them (by net, not hook) and bring them back to sell in the store.

Hi...I have my advanced diving certificate have been diving extensively in the Carribbean and my furthest trip has been to Fiji. In the Caymans, you can dive in a place called Stingray City where Southern Rays will completely envelope you looking for food. A lot of divers...and I think most of us here will agree is wrong...use CheezWiz, cheese in a can to attract the fish. The only thing is you'd better be prepared to be nipped a few times over your whole body. SH
