well I have been having trouble with my males not keeping up with the bubblenest and then eating all the eggs, and now I know why... all the betta tanks are kept in the spare bedroom next to my sons room, and anytime my son jumps around in his crib or yells and plays in his room it shakes the tanks and scares the fish. and really you cant tell a one year old not to run around his room like godzillia...I normal dont go into the fish room while the baby is awake and needing my attention, thus I had no clue what was going on.
we had just gotten the basement concreated, so the whole betta operation is going downstairs on the side of the basement with windows so they will get some natural light.
the fun part is getting the girls tank, the boys tank, the two spawning tanks and my grow out tank plus the desk and stands that hold it all. and all my clear plastic rubbermaid containers too.
the basement is also cooler then the spare bed room, so no tank can go with out a heater at all. but the move must be done because the males and my pink hm tweek is getting so stressed he is eating his tail...grrr...
off I go drain tank and carry them...
