So I ordered some plants and after I recieved them I threw them into the tank so they could get some water. Now I don't know what I'm supposed to do with them. Am I supposed to take off the foam and metal then plant them in the black sand? I read you're not supposed to bury the rhizomes of the anubias plant, but is that the stem part or is that the root looking things. This is my first time dealing with aquatic plants and now I don't know what to do.

Here's a picture of the 5 plants. They are all in front. You can sort of make out the root looking things behind the plant on the bottom.

Java Fern Narrow
Java Fern Windelov
Hygro Difformis
Anubias Nana
Java Moss

With the anubias you can bury the roots not the rhizomes or tie it to something, The java ferns you tie to some drift wood or rocks, The Hygro Difformis floating one remove all the stuff and plant it, The moss tie that to a rock or wood as well or just leave it in a clump or to float. Remove the packing stuff from them all.

Cool thanks a lot!! I'm curious what is the rhizomes? I've read that they are the roots, but then I've tried looking at pictures and its the stem. So the white "root" things are not the rhizome?
