In a word no. To get HC and glosso to carpet well you need to plant each individual plant (or very small clumps of 3/4 plants) a few cm apart. This takes hours and is a complete sod to do, so be prepared for a long haul, but the more effort you put in the more you will be rewarded with good growth and a nice carpet.

Just out of interest why have you got both HC and glosso in the tank?

Is this an EI tank? If it is then both should do great! A little too great! You'll probably find the glosso grows over the HC and it gets smothered and dies. Generally people have one or the other, unless its a huge tank!
