Have I Let My Bass Guitar Go Too Cheap?

Basically, I've lost a lot of interest in playing my guitars. I'm more of a drummer now, I've also become really keen on cycling. I've been after a new bike, which I need urgently as mine is far too small and in a bad condition which is annoying because I use it so much! I need the money, so I decided to sell my bass and amp.

The amp is a small 28W Drive CD100B bass amp, bought new and still in excellent condition for about £40 and the bass is a Black Yamaha Rydeen RBX270 which is in good condition except for a medium sized dent in the bottom. I bought the bass for about £175 3-4 years ago and it's hardly been played since, I haven't played it myself since February!
I offered someone in school £65 for the package, amp and guitar because I know that I'll get the money quickly and it avoids eBay hassle.

Although, I'm now worrying that I've let them both go for too low a price.
Anybody else disagree/agree with me?

Boy, that really sucks since i've been wanting a bass guitar for a few years now. How could you grow out of it? I love the sound! Its just unfortunate that i'm in Florida. Good luck with your drumming endeavors and keep the good music alive!

I guess people just change their hobbies over time, I agree, I love the sound of the bass guitar, but I love cycling more and my current mountain bike is so old that the gears skip every 20 seconds or so... I still have my Jackson Warrior electric which I won't sell even though I don't play that. And cheers for the good luck, I practice drums for 30 minutes a night and love it!

Rule of thumb for second hand gear is take the current retail price (current price, not what you paid) take off the vat, then divide by 2. If in good condition, that's the price, if in bad condition, take a bit more off.

The world needs more bassists, shame you gave up.
