I've just added a planted wood, (to try and speed up the cycle)

my tank is only 60L
can I pluck out some of the leaves, or do I have enough space, fish prefer leaves to swim around, right?

What sort of fish do you plan to keep? I see no problem with keeping small fish in that tank, small tetras, livebearers and what not.

Yeh you could add fish to the set up, but of course only once its properly cycled. Leave the plant as it is, the fish will swim through if they want to, taking leaves out wont help that.

BTW those thin spiky plants look non-aquatic to me and will probably die and rot, polluting the tank, so you'd be better of removing them before that happens. If you want something similar, any of the sagittaria species would do, and most do quite well in less then ideal conditions :)

Sam, I also think those plants maybe plastic :).

EDIT - too late was beaten to it.

Amazing how a pre-done addition can make things look so nice :)

Fish won't be bothered by the wood and plants, if anything they will be happier to have something to swim around and find cover!
