Have I Done This Right?

Based on my limited experience of external heaters (but a quick Google!) this looks fine. The only thing I might have done would have been to put some taps either side making removal/refitting easier.

My filter has a cut off anyway, So it's not too bad. It was tough putting the hoses on but it's not leaking and I'll keep an eye on it for now. Cheers.

Haha, I was always against inline heaters, But we shall see.

Well, I think so. It's one less distracting thing inside the tank, you can dial exactly the temp you want and that's what you get, there are no hot spots or cold spots, no danger of fish burning themselves, and no chance of frying the water. Yep, I'm sold!
