psst just under 3 weeks LOL I know the feeling we are trying to get the garden sorted, we need to do the front room for my other 5ft tank, its all great fun eh lol.

PM me when you are ready, it will only take me half hour or so to get the quaranteen tank ready. Then if he is all ok he can join the others in the big tank. Sorry I cant help with the plec,

I don't know if you work, but I have friday the 18th afternoon off, I may be able to do it then. or it will have to be a weekend or evening. Mind you I've got to pick up the fish first, I'm hoping to do it very soon.

Ok, I'm collecting the rescue fish this weekend. Sorry Star4, she now tells me it's not a Convict but is from the Cichlid family. I'm going to see if I can borrow a camera and take some piccy's for you guy's to ID for me.

The plan is to put some dechlor water in the plastic container then add water from the fishes tank when I collect. I will use the heater that hopefully I can get out of the tank at the same time. I don't however have a spare filter, will it be OK to keep them in the plastic container, with plenty of water changes untill I can re-home them, I will be looking at hopefully some of you nice peeps to help out here. Or the only other temp solution, not ideal but I was going to empty the 60 litre of everything, fish and snails/plants go into the 120 litre, gravel in a bucket and have the plec and cichlid in there, this has a filter. Would really welcome your advice and thoughts. I really want to help these fish as their current living conditions are bad.
