Hi
I've 6 marbled hatchets in my tank (see tank in pictures forum) they are peaceful and the inhabit the the surface level in the aquarium hence the up-turned mouth. The only difficulty is feeding, I crush flake food between my fingers but if you want to feed different foods such as frozen bloodworm and the likes of, you will have to use tweezers and try to suspend the food using the surface tension of the water as these fishes will not go down in search of food.
Hope this is of some help..

They also jump at the slightest sign of trouble. If you do not have a well fitting hood, they will find a way out. They are very peaceful, and can be easily bullied. Feeding, as stated already, is usually the biggest problem.

Good point about jumping Lateral Line. Tight fitting hood a must!!!
