I just ran across these the other day... I buy a lot of Bug Bites, but I usually grind mine to dust for my tetras... but these look interesting, for the plecos that eat other than algae... curious if anyone has tried them??? comments???

I've been using them. It's hard to objectively say how good foods are, but the fish have been doing very well on them.

@GaryE ...what specifically are you feeding this to???

I do see minor ingredient changes between the some of the formulas
...

this is the bottom feeder granules...

I've not compared the ingredients down the board, but at least the one recommended for the Cory's, doesn't list the fish protein concentrate...

I have tried them, my Pleco loved them. (Literally killed for them!) But she loved just about anything edible :D
My Cories also love them, they usually choose it over the Cory specialised pellets (Which I believe are supposed to be more suited to them)

Everything gets a variety here. I actually keep 3 loracarid species. Sometimes a guy gets curious.

Yes and as an added bonus a lot of my other livestock also eat it.

Bug Bites – Bottom Feeder Formula (the sinking pellets/wafers for plecos) are safe and beneficial for many types of aquarium livestock, not just plecos. They’re made primarily from black soldier fly larvae and are high-protein, nutrient-dense sinking foods.

Fish & Critters That Can Eat Bug Bites Bottom Feeder Formula

1. Plecos (all types)

2. Other catfish
Corydoras
Otocinclus (small amounts)
Synodontis species
Dwarf catfish

3. Loaches
Kuhli loaches
Yoyo / Zebra / Tiger loaches
Dojo/Weather loaches

4. Shrimp
Neocaridina (cherry shrimp)
Caridina (crystals, tigers)

5. Snails
Mystery snails
Nerite snails
Ramshorns / bladder snails

These are just a few that I personally feed them to.

I just use the tropical granules for my tetras and overfeed (for the tetras). When it sinks the cories and BN clean up. I usually don't bother to crush it. My tetras and rasboras are quick enough

I wrote fluval and they wouldn't tell me % green pea. Anyway i feed them to my potbelly cats and various geo. I also feed them a lot of algae max (1mm grain size) and flakes. The 10 inch geos eat everything - i'm sure they would eat me given a chance.

surprise gbr can get them down their throat unless of course you grind them up.

These are great! I personally used to buy the biggest pack and grind them down to various sizes to feed my various fish

It’s so much cheaper than buying smaller packs of the same thing, you just need to crush them a bit

I know it's a little off-topic, but I have to say that my panda corydoras absolutely go nuts when I give them the bug bites bottom feeder formula. They love it that much that they literally get the happy zoomies while they're eating and after they've finished. I don't use every feed, as I like them to have a variety to keep them interested.
I also keep some in an electric pepper grinder for a quick treat, but mainly to make it really easy to feed the cory fry and young. They love it as well.
Good luck with the Plecos 🤗
