Has Anyone Imported Betta Direct From Thailand?

Curious to know as the more I browse aquabid the more I'm tempted to get one, though I'm afraid of the risks involved more so getting just one fish, price is also a factor, but importing seems to go quite over budget, only veil tails are available in my country and very cheap too just 50 cents or so, but I'm looking at the HM, what has it been like for you? was it worth it?

I have not done it myself, but there are several people here on the forum that do. Personally I would only do it if you are thinking of breeding as the prices are high, although the fish are gorgeous! Another possibility would be to put an ad here on the forum, and see if there is somebody close to you that can provide you with HMs.
