I need a large anemone that clowns will host in, it needs to be fairly big as they are a large pair.
Price should be reasonable.

I was thinking of Internet ordering but they are all small, and so are the ones in he shops I've been to

Hope you can help :good:

My clowns love the sebae I got them, it can get to be 1'8" I belive...The one I got was nearly 9 - 10 inches (when out all the way obviously) for a hell of a deal. Here is a shot:

Not an easy anemone to take care of normally, but he is doing great in my tank thus far.

I've seen Snakelock anenomes go for £5 a throw on eBay.

Zukari Thats a lovely anemone thanks for the idea on choice,

Ak77 I brought a snakelock anemone off ebay and it was tiny, however it does split regularly which is quite annoying when you want it to grow.

Thanks for the help guys :good:

Hmm which vendor was it? I was planning on getting one but might give it a miss if they are only tiny.

They do supply anenomes at Coralfarm.co.uk, although it looks like they are out of stock on the nice big one. Check them out though. I thought their prices were pretty good.

Hello the seller was ocean-critters, I cannot fault him on good service, communication and delivery at all, And the anemone was in great shape when it arrived, They are very nice even if they are small.

That site is good on prices, they have a nice range as well but i was told that a clown (or pair) will never host in an Atlantic anemone, I have one and find them very awkward, Shriveling up at the slightest thing and then in the next minute there off on the move or fully splaying out. haven't had any problems with it being aggressive to corals and my other anemones at all.

Thanks once again :good:
