I am new to this site and this is my forth atempt at getting out to you....

My Sailfin has Ballooned to double his size in a week.
Its not dropsy his skin is fine.
I think he is either blocked up or has an internal parasite or something.
I checked the water its good.
I gave Cucumber and Peas etc he is not eating though.
I have been putting in medecine for internal bacteria.
Any ideas? He is just getting bigger and bigger. Why Why?
What can I do?

could be intestinal parasites, like tape worms, that are growing in its digestive tract and bloating it. I don't know much on fish diseases so can't say much more than it possibly being that.

Now that i think about this, the pleco would be eating more than usual if it was an intestinal parasite as the parasite would be consuming the food before the plec could digest it. Maybe its some sort of infection that is balooning... Post in the catfish section and see if anybody has any ideas as to maybe a particular disease that may be common to plecs.
