Sorry, cant see the photo.

If it is a harliquin then i can id it for you. they are easily recognisable

yep, its a harliquin all right. I'd take it back as they will not eat frozen food. I know some people who keep them and just feed them sand sifting starfish.

I'll take them back, although its life, i dont like the idea of starfish suffering for such a long time, if it was a quick thing then maybe. Cheers for that!.
I knew i was right!! :grr: :grr: , the main bloke is on his hols, so his mum, dad & sis are looking after the shop  although she did get the dancing shrimp right, and didnt say it was a pepermint!! :/

I nice looking shrimp is the Sexy Shrimp. It lives in aneomnes (or near them) and its quite small and harmless. It loves to wag its tail around in the air which makes it look like some kind of dance.

A friendo f mine has 2 in their tank and they love to watcvh them, very unusual to watch with lots of character.

yep, i like them, saw some in the lfs before i set mine up, but since its up and running i havent seen them at all anywhere :( . Took the harlequins back today and swapped them for a banana wrass and a curlique anenome. They were very nice though

sexy shrimp? have not heard of it.
perhaps it has a different name in the states?

This is a Sexy Shrimp.

Lovely little things but i am too nervous to add any to my tank with the amount of Wrasse in my tank

Harlequin shrimp are very interesting and colourful. If I could afford to feed them, I'd get them.

Also, CatfishAttack, how did you come across this thread? It is over two years old

I wondered why ste2k3 had come back  In truth, I have never seen a single post by him... the mod I never knew... :(

on the picture it had pink spots which means it is female and blue spots means it is male.
they are apprantly like trying to look after a moorish idol. so basically unless you can feed it it will not last long
