Hardy Tetras?

Does anybody kow of any tetras that can be classed as "hardy", is there such a thing?!

Not much of a tetra person, but I know the black skirt/widow tetras are very hardy.

Colombia Tetras are pretty tough in my experience. They look nice, and if kept in a group of 5 or more they're good to go.

The columbian tetras look nice but i haven't seen them anywhere for sale. How about "Black phantom tetras"? The ones with the weird dorsal fins

I have 8 Black Phantoms and they are great, only had them about 6 weeks but they settled right in and are always displaying to each other, they certainly seem hardy. Glowlights are hardy in my experience.

In my opinion pretty much most tetras you can buy at fish stores are hardy with the exception of the neon group in new tanks. Black skirt tetras are very hardy but the can be a little agressive to tank mates. Black phantom tetras are very hardy. Just remember any tetras you get need to be kept in large schools.

iv had black skirt tetras for over 4 months and they haven been agressive at all. i usd them for my first fish after cycling. very tough.
