I am in the process of setting up a Iwagumi style 10g(US) tank.
I'm gathering my materials for the hardscape. I plan to use the tank as mostly a hospital/qt tank but might keep 6 hatchets in it.
I'm planing 33watts of light (pc flor from ahsupply) & Nutrafin CO2
Plants I'd like to keep super simple, 1 low growing moss for the rocks (suggestions welcome) and probably just some hair grass and maybe a patch of riccia for the rest.

For substrate I'd like something super black.
Does anyone have experience with Seachem Black Flourite vs. Seachem Black Onyx? I'd like something very stable that isn't going to move around too much with water flows/changes and is good for hair grass and riccia.

As for the rocks, I live near a huge white Marble quarry and if marble is ok, I'll go up and pick up some small chunks. Does anyone have experience with marble? Is it stable enough for a tank? I've done some google searches but can't find mention of marble.

What about alabaster? I've got access to an alabaster quarry as well.

Thanks for any suggestions!

No one really uses marble in Aquascapes (it just doesn't appeal, in terms of looks...)

Really? That's very odd to me. I think the black/white/green combo would look great.

Thanks for the info. I'll check out the Bio-Complete. I have low ph water to begin with (6.6 out of the tap).
