can anyone help in identyfing this happy chap hes named victor is about 10 inches long he does nothing but such gravel up and spit it back out its gills

To give you more information, not too long ago the scientists decided to change the classification on several of the geophagus species, so now the fish you have is classified as Satanoperca jurupari, and here's some for info on them.

I just wanted to say that that is a really nice jurupari. I have 2 of these myself and they are one of my favorite fish!
