Cheeta is quite possibly the longest lived chimpanzee ever.
AFAIK the average age is 50 for chimps

wow, what a good age.

I dont think the age is that suprising, because of how closely "related" we are the chimps, they are almostlike a wild version of us, and i think that if we were without all the healthcare and vaccinations and generally amazingly clean domestic environment that we live in, we wouldnt be far off that expected age either.

I'm definitely saying that people over 50 are only being kept alive by our healthcare because we have adapted to live longer because of our environment.
