Ok so its not as exciting as it sounds because i couldnt quite cope with a huge bulky camera at one angle and handfeeding the fish at another angle at the same time so my photo missed the lunge out of the water bit...
But anyhoo!!
Lezley has grown about an inch in 4-6 weeks since he finally (after about 9 months) started eating frozen foods! He was tiny when i first got him, now he is fast outgrowing his tank
Lezley is a bit of a tart really, when he is hungry he rolls about on the floor pretending to be dying until he is fed!
I recently discovered by accident as i went to drop food in the tank, he can jump!! He jumps right out to snatch food out of your hand now, he is so greedy!! He is ever so gentle, doesnt bat an eyelid when the two yellow tangs bounce off him like a cushion or the passer angel barges him out the way, im surprised he hasnt killed any of them!
Anyhoo... again... you want photos!!

And there you have a happy fat hand feeding volitans!! He is very quick and snatchy with his food but when hand feeding, he will tank the food gently, i am only brave enough to feed him something long like Smelt (spieling) because in a feeding frenzy as it were... i dont hugely trust him!
