I'm currently redecorating my dining room and have moved the fish tank into the middle of the room

I half emptied it and moved it and the stand into the middle of the room.

I cover it before painting so no direct contamination can take place but what about fumes??

I'm only using emulsion at the mo and it doesn't smell but is there any risk??

What about gloss??

Also are the fish OK in the half filled tank for around 5-7 days - Don't want to fill it up and have to empty it again a few days later!!

(20G) Not too big

Any other tips, suggestions, comments, advise or warning welcome :flex:

I think it will be ok half-filed as long as the filter and ehater fit in, and you donbt have really tall fish like angels.

Most people say that modern paints are unlikely to be toxic to fish, but to be on the safe side i always cover my tank very securely if paintintg, and run an airpump into it from a different room. im paranoid tho. ;)
