Hello everyone, I am new here.. and semi new to the aquahobby. I have been keeping fish for almost 2 years now and am still learning. Alike all of you I have made many mistakes in my past and am trying not to make any more :) .

I currently have a 10g tank setup with 1 Bolivian Ram and 1 Long Finned Zebra Danio. They get along just fine... seems like they dont even notice eachother. I have a few plants in the tank as well. 2 anubias nana, 2 green wendtii crypts, some java moss, and some jungle vals. along with some driftwood and petrified wood and flourite for the substrate.

I used to have a 29g tank setup with a bunch of tigerbarbs(about 7-10) which bred quite often but I was unable to setup a 2nd tank at the time to raise the eggs in. :( .

:hi:
May i suggest getting 4 more zebra danios as they are schooling fish and like to be in groups and alot more active that way :)

Thank you for the suggestion but I plan on giving him to a friend and adding a school of neon tetras once I can learn to create optimal water conditions.

I have hard/alkaline water from my tap and I need to learn how to properly lower my ph and soften the water for the Bolivian Ram.

Which area would be appropriate to make a post like that?
