I had my betta in a 3.5 gallon tank, and for some reason I decided he needed a friend - so I added another male betta!!!
And another and another and another until I had like.... 6 bettas in one 3.5 gallon. I was proud of myself and watched them swimming around.. there were I believe 4 blue ones, 1 green one, and one pale (cambodian?) one.then suddenly realized what I'd done!!! I had 6 bettas and they were going to kill each other if I didn't separate them!!! Well I went and found my other two 3.5 gallons and stuck one in each, managed to find a spot on my desk for them.... (suddenly my desk turned HUGE and empty!) so there were 3 or 4 bettas left in the tank. Then I found this THING which wasn't actually a tank but was a toy of some type... and it was tiny, like less than a cup of water. But I was desperate so I put one more betta in there.
Then the ones left in the original tank started fighting! Their fins were getting torn up and they were missing scales... so I took one of them and put him in my hand and cupped it together cause I didn't have any other tanks.... then the other ones disappeared and suddenly I was fine with one betta in each tank and one betta in my hand. As I was wondering what to do with him, I realized the other tanks didn't have any heaters, so I huddled them all close to each other to try to share heat.
So weird.

How weird!
