I started using mine on Saturday.

All I will say is make sure you don't use 'fast action' or 'bread machine' yeast. As I have found them to be far too quick, the first time I tried it, it only lasted for 12 hours then stopped creating bubbles totally. I am using standard Allinsons yeast, got a pot of it from tescos for under a quid and it has been going for 2 days now

i've been using 2 of them on my tank with great success. They can overflow back into tank so i would recomend not quite filling to top line or not attaching them to tank for afew hrs when you fill them.
And deffinately use the diy mix too, the packs you get with it are rubbish
