I was wondering if anyone had any experience with either one of these yeast systems. I'm not sure which one to buy. thx all

i have used both and got better results via the red sea system. We'll need to know you tank specs to know whether its worth using.

Lighting?
I have a single 15 watt t-8, but i am looking to upgrade the lighting also I'm wanting to add some amazon frogbit topwater plants. Any sugg. on the lighting front?(Pref.cheapest route.). And also, is the homemade yeast co2 system using 2 liter bottle worth a try? I appreciate all input in advance and your patience I am new to aquarium keeping. :)

Another single starter 15W is probably the best option. Combine this with a 15W t8 bulb.
You should be able to retrofit this to your hood somehow
Here is an idea.

Liquid carbon would be better than DIY CO2. DIY CO2 tends to bring about BBA. IMO it should only be done on tanks up to 10gallons.

Thankyou fred i will look into the retro fit kits. What would be the prefer. wattage if i went the cfl route? Also, I have a hang on the back bio filter. I've been told by some I should remove the bio wheel if I'm going to use any co2 because it will cause the co2 to gas off?
