Hi All,

After alot of hmmm's and ahhhh's I think I like the look of the Hagen Fluval Vicenza 180 - It has the pre-drilled holes in the base to keep the pipes tidy etc and comes with a Fluval 205 External Filter

Has anyone seen one of these tanks, I have only seen it in a pic and wanted to know what the quality of the tank / cabinet is like, also the Fluval 205 - is it ok for that size tank, I know its not the best make filter like an Eheim but will it do the trick even if I have some messy plecs etc?

If i swapped the filter out at a later date would it still connect ok to those pre-drilled holes?

Is the tank actually any good? I just like the idea of the pre-drilled holes in the base so the tank can be flush against the wall (only in an apartment and so not that much space) - But then i dont want to waste money and have a poor home for my future fish!

Cheers,

Craig

I use a fluval 205 in my Fluval 180L tank and it works beautifully and has done since it was set up back in february.
I don't no anything about the tank your after except the pictures i've seen of it look very nice indeed!!! :good:

i like the sound of the vincenza's although i've no personal experience

i imagine upgrading the filter if nescessary wouldn't be a problem, the filter input/output connections will probably be standard, at least across the fluval range, so you could upgrade to a fluval 405 for example. again no personal experience so double check with the stockist or manufaturer but i wouldn't envisage problems
