6 months of no problems with aggression then it all started to go wrong, my Astatotilapia Brownae had always been a bit aggressive but the last month it got worse he would constantly harass my elongatus to the point were something had to be done even though when they did fight the elongatus would win leaving the Brownae with a damaged lip.

The bit i still cant work out is why the Brownae were always scared of the yellow labs ?

Just goes to show that what works now might not last.

Very True, Mine Tank is fine but a when a few fish grow a bit it could turn.

The Victorians seem to be very aggressive from a number of people I have asked.

I really need to get a bigger tank i have some membe deep which are just starting to colour up, wont be long until there going to need there space . Just got to wait for the estate agents to sort my house then really start on the 8ft project !

Just a note to everyone with w/c fish i will be hunting around for f1 fry especially white labs :hey:

I would try vics again but not with mbuna there a different kind of aggression, mbuna learn very quickly who is boss vics just dont seem to get it and will just keep on fighting and losing !

I know what you mean with the Mbuna part of the reason why they so interesting.
Also the Vics aggression.
