Had to put a fish down today

I had a female betta with chronic swimbladder disorder who would almost constantly float on one side at the surface. She had been eating though, so I figured it wasn't her time to go, but today she wouldn't eat and looked worse than usual, so I went ahead and put her down. It was harder than I thought it would be, even though I wasn't particularly attached to her
She had a quiet easy death though, and she can finally rest. Bye bye little girl

RIP. It takes a strong person to do that. I'm sure it was for the best, her suffering is over.
